Tuesday, August 9
8:30 a.m.    4-H Horse Show – Halter, Showmanship, Horsemanship, Pleasure, 2 & 3 yr old Snaffle Bit & Reining
7 p.m.  Cowboy Race (Open to Public Entries)

 

Wednesday, August 10
8:30 a.m.    4-H Horse Show - Working Ranch Horse, Roping, Barrels & Poles
10 a.m. – 5 p.m.  4-H Interview Judging
7:30 p.m. Ranch Rodeo

 

Thursday, August 11
7 a.m. – 9 a.m.  Weigh-in for Market Hogs
7:45 a.m.  Dogs to be checked in and in place
9 a.m.- 11 a.m.    Weigh-in for Sheep and Goats  
8 a.m.-noon   4-H Dog Show – Show Arena South
10 a.m. Market Hogs to be in place
11 a.m. Market Hog Show – Show Arena North
9 a.m.   4-H Shooting Sports Competition – Muzzle Loading, .22 Rifles, & Trap
4 p.m.   Open Class Exhibits to be in place – Judging begins
Noon – 3 p.m. Weigh-in for Beef Cattle
Noon Sheep Exhibits To Be In Place
1 p.m.     4-H Sheep Show
1:30 p.m.    4-H Cat Show, followed by 4-H Pocket Pet and Small Animal Show
3 p.m.    All Animal Exhibits to be in place, except Stocker Feeder Calves,
Jr. Breeding Heifers and Dairy Producing Cows
4 p.m.   Open Class Exhibits to be in place – Judging begins
4 p.m.   4-H Livestock Judging Contest (at completion of Sheep Show)
5 p.m.      Meat Goats (at completion of livestock judging)
6 p.m.  Deadline for signing up for Livestock Premium Auction
7 p.m.    Special Concert – Grandstand
8 p.m.  Mid States Rodeo with Calf Scramble during Rodeo
(signup for calf scramble by 6:30 p.m. at Rodeo Office)

 

Friday, August 12
8:30 a.m.   4-H Feeder Calves, Jr. Breeding Heifers to be in place
8:30 a.m. 4-H Beef Show
9 a.m.   4-H Shooting Sports Competition – BB Gun, Air Rifle, Air Pistol & Archery
10 a.m.    Bucket Calf Interviews
Noon  Bucket Calf Show – Show Arena
1 p.m.   Deadline for signing up for Livestock Premium Auction
4:30 p.m.   Elite Showmanship Contest – Show Arena
5 p.m.   4-H Stocker Feeder Calves and Jr. Breeding Heifers released, check out with 4-H Beef Superintendent
5 p.m. Market Livestock Premium Auction
6 p.m.– 8 p.m. Free-Will Donation Barbeque following the Premium Auction
6 – 7 p.m. Special Concert during the Free-Will Barbeque
7:30 p.m.   Ak Sar Ben Awards
8 p.m.   Mid States Rodeo
9 p.m. - Midnight Dance

 

Saturday, August 13
9 a.m.  4-H Champ & Res. Champ in all Breed Classes of Stocker Feeder Calves and Jr. Breeding Heifers check-in with 4-H Beef Superintendent for assigned stalls.
9 a.m. 4-H Dairy Producing Cows in Place
9:30 a.m.    Dairy Judging Contest
9:30 a.m.    4-H Rabbit Show, followed by 4-H Poultry & Waterfowl Show
10 a.m. – 4 p.m. Antique Tractor Show
10:45 a.m. 4-H Dairy Goat Show
11:15 a.m. 4-H Dairy Show
1 p.m.  Pedal Tractor Pull
3 p.m. 4-H Awards Ceremony – Dairy Producing Cows released following dairy show
4 p.m. ALL Exhibits released.  Please help us to keep all fair-goers and participants safe.  Please look out for children, vehicles and animals when leaving the fairgrounds.
